YouTube Music has slowly and gradually added more features over time. With the latest change for Android and iOS, you can see all new albums and single releases.

A carousel on the YouTube Music home feed is New Releases. Previously, you could only see the 10 latest albums or singles by swiping horizontally. The mobile clients recently added a “View All” button in the top right that takes you to a new “Albums and Singles” page.

Here you can see a cover that labels the work and notes the artist underneath. With two widths, you can scroll endlessly through this grid view.

The ability to see all new releases from YouTube Music was introduced earlier this month, but is now widespread (via Reddit) for the Android and iOS mobile apps (version 3.49).


This is a small change from the big scheme, but a big change to improve usability. It was a blatant omission in the first place, but better late than never. The carousel for new releases should be relatively high up in the YouTube Music home feed.
