TO JUNGE LTD. is a leading music consultancy based in London, Paris and Barcelona with agents in New York and Mexico.

We offer bespoke services in the fields of music monitoring, curation, licensing, branding and endorsement. We mainly work for fashion, beauty, lifestyle and high-end brands, but we also make films, documentaries and series.

The job: music monitoring coordinator

As a member of the core team and project manager, you are responsible for coordinating the search, editing, negotiation and licensing of creative music for a large number of advertising and film projects with our international customers. They ensure that every project is handled with great attention to detail and a high level of creative input, while getting every task done efficiently and on time. The salary is competitive and depends on experience.

Main duties and responsibilities

Music licensing & synchronization:

  • Identifying and contacting rights holders, issuing license requests, and negotiating fees and terms
  • Review and draft agreements (for sync licenses, production and recording, performance, services, remixes, etc.)
  • Maintenance of all submitted and current documents, comprehensive administrative and accounting support, updating the contact lists and sending the data to specific mailing lists

Music monitoring & music programming:

  • Coordinating all monitoring projects, transferring responsibilities to other team members and managing workflows while adhering to strict deadlines and assigned customer budgets
  • Listen to, curate and organize music (new releases and back catalogs)
  • Search multiple sources for new music releases (e.g., Pitchfork, NME, BBC Radio, Fader, Dummy, etc.) and send them to our sync library and specific projects
  • Performing music searches, sending out songs for each project, and editing film music with our sound engineers
  • Write music briefs
  • Regular communication with labels, publishers, managers, customers, producers and agencies

Key competencies and experience

  • At least 3 years experience in the music industry (dubbing team for labels / publishers, preferably music monitoring agency) – profiles without prior experience will not be checked.
  • Fluent in English; Knowledge of Spanish and French is very desirable
  • Ability to maintain high creative standards while adapting to the needs of each project and the client’s DNA
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines with great attention to detail
  • Be a team player and also work independently
  • Excellent communication, networking and writing skills
  • Extensive and rich musical culture with a proven understanding of a range of artists and styles
  • Organized, focused, curious and dynamic
  • Competent computer skills (knowledge of project management tools such as Trello / Asana, Slack, etc.)
