The popular festival just released an update on its 2021 event.

The Queenscliff Music Festival (QMF) will do everything in its power to do this on the last weekend of November 2021. A new announcement from QMF says they are 100% committed to making its beloved event this year with the festival is working on plans to confirm it.

“There are a lot of hoops we have to jump through to get there and we have already started that process. We expect QMF to be some things different in 2021 … that’s exactly, we’re just not sure yet, “QMF said in a statement.

“Our goal is to have a festival that is as close as possible to the ‘normal’ and preserves as much as possible of what makes QMF so special. For example, QMF is not going to be a one-stage, one-day outdoor concert … it’s just not us. “

The Queenscliff Music Festival went on to say they are currently working on a COVIDSafe plan for the event, working through state restrictions and protocols in the process.

“As soon as we are confident of moving forward with this plan, we will share some news with you, including line-up announcements,” the statement continued. “A QMF is entirely achievable based on our current COVID situation in Victoria and current government restrictions.”

Usually the festival has their Early Bird tickets on sale by now, but they will hold off any more tickets until they are ready to “push GO”.

While it’s been a while since we’ve heard of the Queenscliff Music Festival specifically, its offshoot, The Pelican Bar, was a huge summer hit bringing over 60 shows and 18 films to Queenscliff. The Pelican Bar attracted more than 4,000 visitors during its ten-week season.
