Buffalo is blessed with plenty of hometown talent. One of the best ways to celebrate the live music scene here in Buffalo is to attend music festivals. Are we right?

More than 40 bands from all over WNY will come together for the Hamburg Music Festival on Saturday, September 4th. But it’s not just the talented line-up that makes this festival so special.

The Hamburg Music Festival is about supporting individuals, schools and organizations that do real and actionable good in the community. And yes, the proceeds go directly to the local community.

This festival has been running since 2009 and has donated over $ 150,000 and supported 130 non-profit causes over the years. This includes the awarding of scholarships to 60 high school graduates from the Hamburg grammar school.

Just buying a bracelet makes an impression. When you do this, you have unlimited entry to all venues. Plus, it includes transportation to and from the venues by magic bus.

Here is the main stage lineup:

  • 2:15 – Mel’s School of Music & Theater
  • 3:00 – soul purpose
  • 4:00 – Jim Whitford & friends
  • 5:00 – Ten cents howl
  • 6:15 – Grosh
  • 7:30 am – Geno McManus / Stoneflower
  • 9:00 – Alison Pipitone Band
