Stars from Cavan kick off the primary Cavan Day with music, interviews, artwork and meals that will likely be featured within the on-line celebration


Cavan STARS launched the first Cavan Day – an online celebration of the global Cavan family.

Cavan’s senior footballer Oisin Kiernan and award-winning celebrity chef Neven Maguire were accompanied to the official start of the event by Tommy Ryan, Chief Executive of Cavan County Council and Cllr Sarah O’Reilly, Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council.

Cavan Day 2020 is a celebration for Cavan’s people, diaspora, and anyone who shares an affinity with the county.

It will also include a special Cavan Day show that will be broadcast live on Cavan TV on Facebook and Youtube on Saturday, September 26th at 5pm and 12pm (US time).
