Pi'erre Bourne Shares Music Video For New Single

Most fans were introduced to Pi’erre Bourne for his production of songs like Playboi Carti’s 2017 hit “Magnolia,” which made him a household name thanks to his legendary producer tag (“Yo Pi’erre, you wanna get out of here?”) . . But back in 2016, the super producer made its own classic mixtape series, The Life of Pi’erre.

While he was preparing the latest episode of the series, The Life of Pi’erre 5, the 27-year-old producer gave fans a foretaste of the project on Friday with his new single “4U”. The title is accompanied by a music video in which Pi’erre strolls through New York City and delivers an introspective verse.

The music video comes out a day after Pi’erre posted an official teaser for TLOP 5 on Instagram. The project will serve as the official sequel to his 2019 volume The Life of Pi’erre 4, which was re-released last summer with a 15-track deluxe edition.

While neither TLOP 4 nor its deluxe version contained any features at all, Pi’erre was annoyed that Drake will appear in the latest edition. It would be the second collaboration between the two artists after last year’s Dark Lane demo tapes cut “Pain 1993”.
