The Belgian Royal Conservatory in Brussels, which normally accepts university students, has invited a 12-year-old Turkish pianist to take an entrance exam.
Ada Elif Savaş, a student in the piano department of the State Conservatory of Mimar Sinan University, will have the opportunity to study music at one of the world’s leading music schools if all goes as expected.
Yasemin Banu Burcu told the story of her daughter who, despite her young age, received several awards at many music competitions in countries such as Georgia, Germany and Bulgaria.
“Ada was only 3.5 years old when we discovered her talent. She was very interested in playing the piano. At the age of 6, she won the Mimar Sinan State Children’s Conservatory and received her basic musical training there, ”said Burcu, adding that her daughter competed in various international competitions and was recognized as an award-winning student during her education.
Burcu announced that her daughter, who had received offers from various schools, had been invited to take exams at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels.
The young pianist and her family are preparing to go to Belgium next year.
