Turnstile return with “Mystery” — first new music since 2018

Today Turnstile has returned with a brand new single “Mystery”. The single marks the first taste of new music by the band since their breakthrough album Time & Space from 2018.

On “Mystery”, gymnastics styles seek beauty and find peace in the unknown while rejecting the idea of “normal”. There is no “normal” thing about turnstile, only its truth and the endless possibilities of magic, if one remains open to the truth of others; sing praises of the infinite mysteries of the universe.

GIRLS bring superhuman energy to the stage and will perform at Dover, Delaware’s Firefly Music Festival (September 23) and Louisville, Kentucky, Louder Than Life (September 24). You can find the full tour dates here.

More and more attraction than demand, more liberation than limitation, TURNSTILE held out their hand with TIME & SPACE in 2018. Recorded with producer Will Yip, TIME & SPACE marked Turnstiles Roadrunner Records debut and saw the band explode with an enormous heart the most oversized tropes of hardcore. The album was named “Best of 2018” by The New Yorker, The New York Times, Rolling Stone, NPR Billboard and others, with GQ naming TIME & SPACE as one of the “Best Albums That Shaped the 2010s”. Constantly looking outwards, TIME & SPACE presented the sound of a band that acts without borders, continues to grow, is always in super-motion.
