El Pollote’s Latino Fried Chicken, White Men Can’t Jerk’s Caribbean Fusion, seafood from Bob’s Lobster, beautiful beef patties from Burger & Beyond and No Bonez Vegan Wings’s extremely self-explanatory snacks – these are just a few of the sellers that will be at the very first Eastival Pop up.
A one day festival of food and tunes, Eastival is set to be the biggest ever party the good people at Street Feast have ever put on. Horse Meat Disco brings the tunes and loads of music to be announced in the coming weeks.
On August 7th at Hackney Wick’s Three Mills Island, Eastival won’t judge you if you want to let off steam and stuff your hungry little face at the same time. In fact, that’s basically what you’re supposed to be doing in this Bacchanal amusement dome – although instead of snooping around like a Roman god while subordinates peel and feed grapes, you instead cram slices of Fundi’s wood-fired pizza.
Created by the team behind the Dinerama, Hawker House and Giant Robot Robot food courts [RIP to three real ones] next to the founder of the Eastern Electrics Festival, if anyone knows how to throw a party and serve some snacks it is this crowd. Tickets start at £ 15.
